WxV Links Page FAQ
1. How do I get the last available prog?
Just click on the name of the product (ignore the columns of numbers on the right).
2. What do the 'Issue' and 'Valid' keywords mean in the PROG and IM-MAPS_PROG sections
Each number after the Issue or Valid keywords refers to the time from the current prog run
(ie. 00Z or 12Z today).
The '-12' link following the 'Issue' keyword produces the previous prog run.
The '-12' link following the 'Valid' keyword produces a loop of progs valid 12 hours prior
to the current prog run.
3. Why am I getting a 'no data available' message when I click on a link?
This can happen for the following reasons.
i) Data really is missing - it can happen
ii) The issue times in the PROG and IM-PROG sections are determined by the current time. So the '00' link,
will not show any data between 00 to 03Z and 12 to 15Z roughly.
iii) Some PROG or IM-PROG products are only produced at 00Z (not at 12Z).
4. What does the '36-3' link mean?
This will produce a loop of 36 images using every third image available in the database (ie. the loop
will cover a period of time three times longer then otherwise).
